# Global Preset

Instruct RouteEffect to recall a any preset in RouteEffect.

| Message                        | Description        | Arguments   |
| ------------------------------ | ------------------ | ----------- |
| `/routeeffect/globalPreset/ID` | Recall any preset. | Preset name |

Where `ID` is the unique identifier for your video router in RouteEffect.

| Argument    | Type   | Description                   |
| ----------- | ------ | ----------------------------- |
| Preset name | String | The exact name of the preset. |

If there are multiple presets with the same name, nothing will happen. Make sure your presets are uniquely named.

Be careful using this message, as a preset may not have the correct commands tailored for the video hub you are targeting.

For instance, if you recall a preset designed for an ATEM 2 M/E Constellation HD onto an ATEM Mini Pro, the results may be unpredicable.
