# Routing

Control the routing of inputs and outputs in the Routings section. This is the heart of RouteEffect and where you will perform many of your routing functions. It is comprised of several sections or views:

* [Button](/using-routeeffect/routing/button-view.md)
* [Split](/using-routeeffect/routing/split-view.md)
* [List](/using-routeeffect/routing/list-view.md)
* [Wheel](/using-routeeffect/routing/wheel-view.md)
* [Crosspoint](/using-routeeffect/routing/crosspoint-view.md)
* [Virtual Output](/using-routeeffect/routing/virtual-output-view.md)

When in the Routing section, you can press `Command-;` and `Command-'` to go to the previous and next sections respectively.

You can also press `Command-Shift-R` to go to the Routing section when connected to a video router.
